Current Exhibition
Marc Chagall (actually Moishe Zakharovich Shagalov, 1887–1985) is one of the outstanding artists of the 20th century. He knew how to combine memories of his Jewish-oriented childhood in Russia with the latest art movements in Paris. The extraordinary popularity of the artist, who was particularly apt at presenting emotions and empathy to the viewer, was based on his capacity to link reality with imagination.
The exhibition in the Würth Forum in Chur not only shows individual works but, above all, a cycle on the Bible consisting of 25 color lithographs. All works come from the artist’s late work.
The exhibition is open 7 days a week!
